Reaction Injection Moulding

R.I.M. (Reaction Injection Moulding) is the answer when more than one copy of a large, functional component is required.

It is a technique to produce plastic parts by low pressure injection of thermoset resins in moulds. These models can be made in a very wide range of materials, within short lead times and at very competitive prices.

The advantages are quite obvious: apart from the low cost and the fast availability of the parts, R.I.M. is a flexible solution for re-ordering and an interesting low volume manufacturing solution, particularly for the automotive sector.
