The Straumann^® guided surgery instruments are designed to be compatible with the Materialise Dental SurgiGuide^® drill guides. The Straumann^® Guided Surgery Kit, in conjunction with SimPlant^®, offers secure and efficient tools for improving the predictability and accuracy of your implant placement.

Dr. Shahnavaz has used and evaluated the new surgery equipment from Straumann^® and is very pleased with the results. According to Dr. Shahnavaz, the surgical kit offers him a number of advantages. The Straumann^® Guided Surgery Kit:

• Contains Straumann^® handles for instrument guidance – only four light-weight handles with color coding;
• Contains the Straumann^® Milling Cutter – a unique drill used for flattening very sharp ridges;
• Is easy to use and precise – an intuitive system with direct drill protocols.

The new Straumann^® Guided Surgery Kit was released at the IDS Conference in Cologne and will be available shortly after.
