Opened in Austria in 1992, the family-owned company robotmech Rapid Prototyping GmbH has become one of the leaders in the industry.

In the 16 years since its founding, robotmech has seen considerable change in the rapid prototyping industry, with a dramatic increase in the demand for precision and speed. From the first time robotmech engaged Materialise’ services in 1998, the two companies have maintained a close relationship. robotmech was the first to adopt SPEED, Materialise’s electronic online ordering system, and its latest acquisition is Materialise’ e-Stage software.
