Plastic components for RESQTEC extrication equipment
Materialise have assisted RESQTEC during two very important phases of their project. A small series of functional components through vacuum casting were delivered in less than 2 weeks to shorten time-to-market. In the final phase, small production series through injection mould tooling were ready in as little as 2 weeks. Thanks to our thorough technical support we were able to contribute to RESQTEC's final material choice.
Tooling for market testing
In response to the desire expressed by consumers to have a quicker and more convenient way of dosing detergents, P&G made a first draft of a measuring cup. Before bringing it to the market, the P&G consumer research experts had to collect all possible quantitative or qualitative information that could be helpful to the product development people. It was beyond doubt that there could not be a more efficient way of getting the consumer in touch with the product than through prototypes. The link with Materialise was obvious… not in the least because the process had to be both time- and money-saving.
The Brani® of OrangTiga
Mostly made of brown or black leather, with a medieval buckle closure system with pin and holes... probably the least exciting consumer product you can think of is the traditional belt. The Orang Tiga company now introduces the Brani®, a revolution in the waistware category. A unique product, resulting from a successful collaboration with Materialise which supported the entire development process.
