SimPlant 12 focuses on improving your SurgiGuide service. Classic SurgiGuide drill guides as well as Facilitate, Navigator, ExpertEase and other SAFE SurgiGuide drill guides are easily visualized and available for FastTrack delivery. The SurgiGuide preview is also a real interactive design tool followed by an enjoyable, three-step order wizard. On top of that, diagnosing and planning with SimPlant becomes easier. You will be warned automatically when software and/or library updates are available. You are able to verify the scout alignment image via the X-Ray view for sagittal images. More measurements are possible in 2D on colored contours of 3D objects as well as in 3D on implants, nerves, the SurgiGuide, etc…

Take two scans and fit them together into one SimPlant project
(CB)CT scan data are the basis for surgical planning in SimPlant. The (CB)CT scan data give a correct and detailed representation of the dental anatomy of the patient.
The Dual Scan Guidelines work for dentures equipped with radio-opaque markers.
You only have to take two scans:
• Scan 1: Take a scan of the patient wearing the denture with markers
• Scan 2: Take a scan of the denture alone

SUPERVIEW
SimPlant View is the world’s first free interactive 3D viewer that allows treatment planning communication between everyone involved: dental lab, referring clinicians, and the patient. Improved communication leads to higher case acceptance and better results.
SuperView in SimPlant Pro empowers you to send the entire (CB)CT dataset with multiple 3D models to your referrals. There is no need for a new scan when the (CB)CT dataset wasn’t aligned! Use our scan reorientation feature before you send out the corrected SuperView patient file.
Restorative doctors as well as referring specialists for imaging (Implants, Orthognatic, ENT, Ortho, TMJ, Endo…) will diagnose more accurately with user-friendly SimPlant View freeware!

3D preview panel
Looking for an easy way to change the color of the scan prosthesis? Or to adjust the transparency of the bone? Or to show contours of tooth roots in the 2D images? 3D preview buttons toggle the visibility of 3D objects and provide quick links to several properties of your 3D objects.
Scout image via sagittal X-ray
X-Ray view on all 2D images makes it easier to diagnose tumors, atrophies, aesthetics, root canal failures...
The extra sagittal and coronal dimensions in SimPlant Pro ensure that you are able to verify the scout alignment image, even if the scout wasn’t included in the scan.
Easy 3D extraction from (CB)CT images
Volume rendering is used for easy 3D extraction from (CB)CT images. You can not only choose between the different color schemes to accentuate the structures of interest in the dataset, but you can also customize the volume rendering to your needs and save your settings for use in future projects.
(CB)CT scan alignment
Having your patient scanned under perfect occlusal alignment can be a challenge. Use the CT scan reorientation feature in 3D to correct any alignment problem and your 2D dataset will be reconstructed instantly.
