Industrial Design Engineer

Responsibilities

You will design or re-design products by

  • Building up expertise on the materials, technologies & software applications for additive manufacturing;
  • Capturing functional requirements from internal & external customers;
  • Translating this information into printable products;
  • Focusing on detail and efficiency to continuously improve CAD operations;
  • Self-managing a design or re-design project from start to finish, through respecting deadlines and creating and delivering briefings to all stakeholders.

Requirements

  • You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Product Design or other relevant through experience;
  • You have a passion for industrial design, sketching, CAD and visualizations. Experience with CAD packages (Solid Works, Rhino, Catia, Siemens NX,…) is an absolute must;
  • Experience with industrial design and graphic design are a plus;
  • You have strong English communication skills. Knowledge of French and/or German would be a plus;
  • You are a creative personality with a passion for (industrial) design;
  • You are an open minded team player who likes to brainstorm in group;
  • You are self-critical & responsible: You take responsibility for your decisions and actions and you question your own way of thinking;
  • Last but not least, you have a curious mindset and are eager to learn all there is to know about the materials, technologies and software that we work with.
