The first Sprite prototypes have been made with the help of Materialise
Gérard Périssel, a 63-year-old designer, came up with the idea, and after four years of research, the Sprite has come to life, exists and can get you from A to B. It’s a small car for urban use, available in two versions, for drivers with or without a licence. It is a successor to the legendary 2CV, the extremely famous Méhari and the unforgettable Austin Mini Moke.

Materialise helps Jaguar engineers realise the CX-75 concept car
Specialists from Materialise UK have worked with Jaguar Land Rover engineers to provide solutions for the unique design challenges associated with the company’s revolutionary CX-75 concept car. Because the concept design called for organic shapes to be used in the interior cabin traditional machining methods were unsuitable. Therefore, the alternative production techniques offered by Materialise were used, with the advantage that they not only provided the desired results but were also cost effective.
